In the heart of Grödnertal lies St. Christina – and right in the centre of the village, you will find Hotel Cristallo. It is located on the main street, which runs through the mountain village. From here, everything is easily accessible: lifts, hiking and biking trails, small boutiques, the supermarket, pharmacy, and much more. It’s your base camp for all adventures!

By car

The easiest way to get to Gröden is via the A22 Brenner motorway. Coming from the north via Innsbruck and the Brenner Pass, from the south, via Verona and Bolzano. Exit the motorway at Klausen – Gröden/Val Gardena – Chiusa, turn off at the roundabout on the opposite side and follow the signs to Gröden. After about 30 minutes, you will reach St. Christina. Stay on the main road until you reach a tunnel followed by a roundabout. Take the third exit at the roundabout. At the end of the road, you will find Hotel Cristallo on the right.
Please note: In summer, summer tyres are required in South Tyrol. In winter, however, your car should be equipped with winter tyres and ideally even snow chains!
By bus and train
Your journey will be more environmentally friendly if you take the bus. The nearest bus stop is Klausen (Chiusa), which is where direct buses from Innsbruck and Munich arrive. From there, you have regular bus connections to the centre of St. Christina. Get off at the bus stop “Dosses”. Walk downhill for 250 metres, and you will reach Hotel Cristallo.
If you are travelling by train, we recommend getting off at the Brixen train station – some trains also stop in Klausen. From there, continue by bus as described above.
By plane
The nearest airport is in Bolzano, where a few airlines offer select flights. Further away, you will find the following airports: Innsbruck, Verona, Munich, Bergamo, Venice, and Milan.
